Head of New Business
We are looking for an experienced new business professional who will build on the agency’s existing client portfolio and seek new opportunities, by actively targeting new clients and areas of business. This team player will take a strong entrepreneurial approach to develop our business.
This charming and persuasive person will require a strong outbound “hunting” instinct for selling the agencies services. As Head of our New Business function this role will own the agency positioning and ensure we are set up to achieve our long-term goals and objectives.
In addition, this role will be a part of the Leadership Team and will make a significant contribution to the further development of the whole agency group by sharing market experience, know-how and insight.
Driver of outbound prospecting strategy and execution (including making connections, attending meetings, creating content ideas, follow ups and overall management of the process)
Working with business leads on pro-active approaches and focus on business development with existing clients in order to open new doors for the company and enlarge the client portfolio
Management of our pipeline including being the first point of contact for all new incoming opportunities
Ensure FCB is on every major pitch ran from London and responsibility to find out why we are not if excluded
Management of intermediary relationships
Face of the agency at industry and prospecting events
Collaboration with global new business team to capitalise of opportunities deriving from network
Make connections and build relationships with IPG partner agencies

Be confident talking business not just comms with CMO’s.
Be ‘rated’ and be impressive in front of, key intermediaries.
Will have had a successful career in the agency landscape at senior level
Have a track record of creating and converting new business opportunities. You will have developed your career through sales and business development.
Be extremely well-networked in the UK business environment as well as in the agency landscape, you will be a relationship builder, able to create long-term relationships with clients.
Exhibit strong personal presence, possessing natural authority as well as being charming, charismatic, and optimistic with a vibrant engaging personality
Be a strong team player to build trust in people from all levels of the agency
Be practical and hands-on with a results orientated attitude.
